Hope and healing are possible for those who have experienced abortion.

At New Life Family Services, in our Conquerers program, we offer one-on-one mentoring and group sessions designed for women to address the emotional pain that can occur after an abortion experience.  We offer a  safe space to process all the feelings common to those who have experienced the trauma and loss of abortion.

Acknowledge the Emotional Impact of Abortion

As you take the first steps towards healing, allow yourself to feel whatever emotions you are experiencing. Some women report feelings of grief, shame, guilt, or loss.

Instead of minimizing or rationalizing your feelings, allow yourself to acknowledge and feel them. This is the first step towards releasing the emotional burden you have been carrying. Suppressing your emotions will only prolong your healing journey.

Lean On Your Support System

During times of emotional duress, people can often withdraw and isolate themselves when they need their loved ones more than at any other time.

While you may not be comfortable reaching out to all your friends or family, it is a good idea to share what you’re going through with a trusted family member or friend.

Let them know how they can help you, whether just listening or just being present for you. Your support system can provide comfort, encouragement, and practical assistance as you heal.

Look to the Future

At New Life Family Services, we empathize with the complex emotional journey many women face after an abortion. We are here to support you as you seek healing. Our Conquerors program is led by others who have experienced abortion themselves, and know first hand all the emotions common for those who have experienced the trauma and loss of abortion.

Our compassionate team is committed to walking alongside you as you heal and rediscover hope for the future.
