Small Confidential Groups

Conquerors is a confidential support program for men and women suffering from the painful effects of past abortion experiences.  These groups are held several times a year around Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Rochester.

The groups meet weekly over 10 weeks, with two additional special event sessions. These are closed groups based on a condensed 12-step, Biblically based curriculum. The groups are kept small, 4-6 participants per group, and led by trained volunteers who have experienced abortion and have been through a post abortion program themselves.

Why a Group?

We have seen that by bringing the broken pieces left by abortion to the surface and discussing it with others in a confidential setting, true healing does occur.  As a result of having an abortion, we have a shared grief that few can understand.  The Conquerors support groups provide the opportunity to share your feelings with those who share in your grief.

Support groups help break the isolation and reduce the shame that keeping the secret perpetuates. Your fellow group members have stories that provide insight into your own story.  Encouragement is shared in a group.  For all these reasons, we highly encourage participating in the support group setting.
